I am trying to figure out what denominations hold the 6000 year Earth belief to be true? Is it your belief or is taught by your denomination?

(It should read: What is Your Denomination?)

This earth could be millions or billions of years old.

Genesis 1:1 starts out with God creating the earth. Then the earth **became** chaos and vacant. Then God makes the earth habitable again from 1:2 onward.

There could be a gap of millions of years between 1:1 and 1:2.

I'm a believer who also believes God will save all mankind.

It sure is an interesting topic to read about. Personally pcamps I wouldn't consider not having a conclusion about that being in the wilderness.

6000 years, 6000 billions years, it is irrelevant when it comes to living our faith and helping one another, I'm not gonna be around for another 6000 years let alone another billion or so.

Some people have to believe the legalism letter of the Word and are blasphemed at others not believing the letter of the Word ..... My church which is non-denominational does not teach the subject of the creation which gives me more freedom to believe what I like to believe I do not believe that this unbelief in a 7 solar day creation will not compromise my salvation to the Lord Jesus......... Me I like collect fossils from the beaches and in so doing can`t believe in the 6,000 year old earth, but I do believe that God has be trying to have a family with the human creature for 6,000 years
