Overcome sin, and death will back down. It is the last enemy to overcome.

Yes, we can be in heaven while on earth. It is a state of being, it is expansion.
It is a place, of being.
So there is dead people that will fight against God? Wouldn't you agree that fighting against God is a sin?

Finn_Jarber, is God powerful enough to cause all to believe?

He is powerful enough to erase physical death right now. Well, He chooses not to do that, yet that does not make Him a failure. It is according to His plan to save those who believe. Those who choose to reject Him will not be saved and that is accoding to His plan. If He saved even one person who died rejecting Him, it would make God a liar. It is that simple.

THAT is YOUR interpretation of the command to believe Him . . . not God's. YOU interpret it as an ego demand . . . God has no such ego needs. As long as we believe Jesus and follow His commands to "love God and each other" (even if we never heard of Him or His commands) . . . we are all welcome before the Lord.

It has everything to do with ego . . . there can be no other reason for requiring specific acknowledgement. If you know of one please tell.

If quoting words of Jesus offends you, then that's too bad. I can't help you with that, but I can tell you Jesus also said that some will be offended by the truth.
Quoting Jesus doesn't offend me . . . misinterpreting what He said does. You misuse pisteuo eis and think it means "believe IN Him" . . . when the closest actual translation to our idiom would be "believe Him" (believe on/into). You follow a completely apostate Gospel built around the believing IN Him idiom . . . when it should be built around believing Him and following His commands . . . not a bunch of "precepts and doctrines of men."

I agree with you that He will not save those who choose not to believe. As a great many universalists do as well. However, my question was is He Powerful enough to cause all to believe? You didn't answer THAT question. If He is Powerful enough to cause all to believe then wouldn't you agree that if ALL believe that would mean all will be saved?

Or, it would mean that we lack understanding?
