Here's a new one from sciomatics ...... hyperbolic lingual format.

"all" is a hyperbolic lingual format, because of the damnation of unbelievers in other verses.
"desire" is a hyperbolic lingual format, because God also sends delusions as judgement for their unbelief.
"grave" is a hyperbolic lingual format, because Jesus didn't come to save people from an actual burning garbage dump outside of Jerusalem.

You say that some don't want to be saved. But what if God decided to persuade them to want to be saved? - would God's Persuasion fail?
No way God bless.

Here is Jesus clearly stating how He had tried many times to 'persuade' Israel under His wings, but they chose to not come. Those Jews are now dead in their sins, and will never see salvation.

Matt 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

Eventually all will be persuaded because Jesus will draw all men to Himself subject all to Himself. We do not yet see all in subjection to Him but it is promised. (Hebrews 2) For a time, God allows people to reject Him. God had not fully brought all into the realization of who He is but one day all will see and all will be persuaded. (Isaiah 45)

All Israel will eventually be saved according to Romans 11. They will not continue in unbelief forever. How can then when one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess Him? Thank you, Jesus.

The idea that God will not eventually persuade all men, elevates man's will over God's sovereign power. Man's "free will" is not sovereign. Only God's will is. He will subject all things to Himself, including all wills (Philippians 3:21). God bless.

Wouldn't use the word persuasion in terms of God.

He does stand at the door and knock, and people don't answer the door every day.

Some will never open the door. It is their choice.

What if death pushes one through the door? No one wants death but nonetheless they will experience it. The dead cant sin nor can they choose, right? So why do you think death is the end of salvation rather than the culmination of it. I think Jesus meant that you shouldnt have to die first to experience heaven...

Matthew 18:3
and [Jesus] said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said "truly never" - no, not.

Some call Jesus a liar...

A "never" after an "unless" means "in some cases."

Unless you turn and become like children doesn't say that they will never turn and become like children. God' power to persuade and open eyes is greater than the blindness of mankind. God bless.

Isaiah 45:

There is none except Me.
22 “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth;
For I am God, and there is no other.
23 “I have sworn by Myself,
The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness
And will not turn back,
That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.
24 “They will say of Me, ‘Only in the LORD are righteousness and strength.’
Men will come to Him,
And all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.
25 “In the LORD all the offspring of Israel
Will be justified and will glory.”

All will be persuaded and God is not a liar God bless.
