If people are born straight,then how can some straight people have homosexual thoughts?
(maybe they are bisexual i guess)
This does not tell me the differences between a bisexual and gay person either.
No, having these kinds of fantasies does not necessarily mean you are gay or bi. Many 100 percent straight people have these kinds of fantasies (fantasies involving sexual acts with members of same sex), and the reasons vary. Many women have rape fantasies, does it mean they want to be raped?
If you are concerned/confused about thoughts/fantasies you may be having, I would suggest seeing a good therapist, and they will be able to help you figure out why you may be having certain thoughts.
Well,it is not so simple.
Many people can be sexually attracted to someone without romantic thoughts.
For example,what about men who are attracted to women romantically but men sexually?
Say a guy is married to a women but has had homosexual thought all of his life.
Would he be considered gay?
It becomes complicated because quite a lot of people (possibly even most people, depending on whose research you believe) are bisexual to some degree or another. Not everyone (in fact, possibly very few of us) are 100% gay or 100% straight - most of us fall somewhere in between. Now, most of us fall so close to the "100% straight" end of the spectrum that for all practical purposes, we might as well be completely straight - we settle down with someone from the opposite sex, have kids, and love long lives without ever casting a serious glance at someone of our own gender.
But for some, it's not that easy or that clearcut. Some of us may go through long periods of our lives (especially when we're younger) struggling with our sexual identity - confused by conflicting and contradictory urges and desires, and not really sure what to do. It's not uncommon for people in that group to settle down with someone of the opposite sex, get married, raise a family, and really feel for many years that that's who they are. But, they still have homosexual fantasies and urges.
Or, in some cases, they may live many years as a straight adult, and then come to the realization that this just isn't who they really are - that in their heart, the deepest core of their soul, they really are gay. They may come to feel that they've been living a lie their entire lives, and decide that to be true to who they really are, they need to set their old life aside and live the rest of their lives as a gay person, with someone of their own gender.
Being gay isn't a sin, and yes science backs up the fact that orientation is biological.
The Bible testify to God saying that homosexuality is an abomination and thus a sin. Science is not in the arena to call anything sin or not a sin.
Science have said that they can detect a gene to know if a person is an alcoholic or not or could become one, but science has not been able to prove that said person will definitely become an alcoholic after detecting the gene.

I see all these teens who say they are gay but they are virgins.
Having sinful thoughts, be they murderous, homosexual/lustful, stealing, etc. is a temptation of sin. The thought itself is not sin, but dwelling on them IS A SIN. This includes dreams or the dreamlike half sleep one experiences in bed before and after deep sleep. Dwelling on sex in the dream like half sleep is the same thing as wakeful preoccupation. St. Paul says that the Christian must take EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE for Christ.
This includes lustful thoughts about the opposite sex, same sex, self-sex or inter species sex. The ONLY sex condoned by scripture is married sex between a man and a woman.
This doesn't mean that temptation is wicked, but dwelling upon it is the same thing as doing it. It also includes looking at objects such as art, sculpture, porn, movies, etc. that arouse sexual urges.
It is, all of it, counter productive to a healthy life style, not to mention SIN. It separates the Christian from a pure relationship with God.
For the secular world, however, anything goes. They are going to hell anyway, so one more step doesn't matter one way or the other. Let them enjoy their animal urges for the few years of life they have been given. They will destroy themselves, their relationships and any hope they might have of ever seeing the Kingdom of God. Make no mistake, the homosexual is damned to hell. That they protest to one and all about it makes no difference. Man may be persuaded to allow their life style, but God will never relent. The grave awaits all, and the man who pursues his lust will discover all too soon that the end of it is coming.
Christ said that His disciple should take up his cross and follow Jesus. That means denying the base pleasures of the flesh if necessary. There are no exceptions.

No it's not nonsense. The fact is there needs to be a lot more research done before it can be concluded that someone is "born gay" or has a genetic variation that makes one a homosexual.
The problem is that politics has taken over the narrative.
