This is a relatively uncomplicated Bible truth ... that seems to offend the 'sensibilities' of many people -- who apparently think that they have a better ('more humane') approach to running the universe.
a BIBLE truth? That is a certain kind of truth, huh? Funny thing about that is that I have some BIBLE truths that you reject. Do I condemn you for it? No.
According to John 3 and other passages, all mankind is under condemnation, because our sin nature is in opposition to God's holy nature. Unless a person places their faith in Christ's redemptive work, they will remain under that condemnation.
I hear a lot of petty and vengeful threats and very few benevolent promises coming from the god of Abraham according to believers.
It's not unlike a child with an anthill and a magnifying glass. It's far from loving.
The resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous sounds quite benevolent. The future fulfillment of God's original intent for the Earth...perfect mankind living under idyllic conditions...even more so.
People died horrible deaths just for the chance of reading the Bible...something which we take for granted today. Why accept as truth what you have heard? Carefully examine God's word for yourself.

Yes, but don't stop with John 3 and claim that's the end of the story.
Nonsense. God has promised us His love, salvation, and life eternal if we place our trust in Him.
This is not quite truthful since God loved us WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS. Yet you are saying God only loves those who have "Placed their trust in him". These cannot both be true at the same time. Not to mention all those other scriptures you are cancelling out about how God knew us while we were still in our mother's womb (the favorite scripture of the anti-abortion crowd) and that Christ died for the UNGODLY. But you manage to turn the whole thing around to say God will love us IF we love him. That turns God's grace (graciousness) on its head -- this is taught as truth in churches all the time.
Of cause you have Jimmie. Universalists according to Fundamentalists false teachers, rejecting what the bible saw therefore rejecting God.
