Matthew 24:29-31

The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I know many are so fixed on being gone due to a pre-trib rapture, but have most stopped and given a thought on, what if they are wrong and we are meant to go through the tribulation?

God protected his people from the plagues in Egypt, so do you think he cant do the same during the tribulation as well?

Would you actually be willing to be beheaded for your faith in Christ?

Would you take the Mark of the Beast, if it stopped your children and family of dying from starvation in front of your own eyes?

Im not saying there wont be a pre-trib and a post-trib rapture is a must, but scriptures when read in context point to Jesus coming back after the tribulation for his followers, so if we are to go through the Great Tribulation are you prepared???

I think if we can make a distinction between the "elect" and the "very elect" [Mt24:24], you will have your answer.

Mid trib, per Rev 12;6, makes much more sense.

Exactly because after the man-child, the "very elect" of Mt 24:24 is birthed by the woman, the visible church of today, who will go underground for 3 1/2 yrs., the dragon/Satan will make war against the remnant of her seed per Rev. 12:17. The remnant of her seed are those who were not watching and waiting, the foolish virgins, the one NOT taken in the field and the one left in the bed as is spoke of in the NT scriptures. They will be the Christians who will go through the GREAT tribulation..

Quote:

"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, [those left behind but] which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ". Revelation 12:17 (KJV)

Sure gotta be ready for that, eh?

The tribulation is only for the Jewish believers. The believers of the nations will be caught away to meet Christ in the air prior to the tribulation.

If the tribulation is only for Jewish believers, is it for Messianic or non messianic Jews? If its for non messianic Jews, isnt that the same as it being for any unbeliever that doesnt believe in Jesus.

I hope so. I honestly hope I won't have to...but if I do...so be it. I will trust God.

What you all are overlooking is that God desires all to be of that class of Christian who will make up the man-child, the very elect who will rule and reign with Jesus. If you really mean what you say in your Sunday service, "It's all about you Lord, it's all about you" then this is what it is all about.

They are so fixated because they are poorly understanding this truth, Jesus speaks of the immediate destruction of Jerusalem while in the same time looking at his only 2nd return... much like a telescope.
and that is what Matthew 24:15-31 is.

we are in the tribulation currently.
Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Do you have the Seal of God on your forehead? Rev 7:3 \ Rev 9:4 \ Rev 14:1 ... well you should if you're going to take the Mark of the Beast literally.

People have a choice to force scriptures to fit a theory like Millennialism or let scriptures speak for themselves. Which if one does, then you will understand end times prophecy as Amillennial

The apostle Paul said we are taken out before the man of lawlessness is revealed. See Thessalonians.

Is that so?

Tell me, has Christ, along with the 12 reigned over the 12 tribes of Israel during the 1000 years already? If so, when?
