Okay, I get it, that is what the Bible tells you. My question to you then, does it make sense to you? If the Bible was silent on this topic, what would you think then?

Pretend the Bible has nothing about non believers going to hell. Would you then still think that good people who do not believe in Jesus go to hell?

Please be honest and tell me if you really agree that good people who do good deeds their entire life but choose not to believe in Jesus should burn and suffer for eternity? You seem like a smart and nice person, so I am having a hard time believing that you really think this.

I realize you don't actually believe the Bible, but John wrote that "if they were of us, they wouldn't have gone out from us". The clear implication is that true Christians don't abandon the faith.

I'm sorry. I don't see the difference.
No, you have been shown it time and time again but you refuse to see it, just like you refuse to see i am not a universalist. You are a bible believer and are just as capable to becoming an atheist like all the other former bible believers that matched your years in bible believing.

Or a non-Christian theist, or a Christian who's faith isn't in the bible. Yep, it's never too late, Vizio.

It is quite sad to believe in a God who insists that you must be RIGHT ABOUT Him in this brief life or suffer eternal torment in the next. It is even sadder that people like Vizio think that what THEY believe ABOUT God are the ONLY CORRECT things to believe about God. IF ANY earthly Father was so petty and vain they would shun him . . . but Vizio worships his version of God.

Thank you for your time in researching and listing these scriptures. I have heard the "once saved always saved" and was raised as a Christian to believe this because it was always said. I never really needed to confirm the scriptures that explained it until now though. This really helps bring peace and comfort to my spirit and I will cling to these scritures. For my very strong Christian son who was always an intellectual went to college and very slowly through his college years became an atheist (so he says). He gives many reasons but the main reason boils down to him wanting to make his own choice and not just believe because he was raised to believe. But he has found the bible to be nothing more than a story book and science has proof for evolution and other things and the bible has no proof and we are just simply supposed to believe it?
