Saint Albertus Magnus, pray for us.
Do you have a situation St. Albert could help you with ?
Or someone you love ?
He's waiting.

I'm kind of partial to Saint Arnold, myself.

I was named after St. Francis of Assisi, as was my father.

Although I have strayed far from my original Catholic past, I am proud to be named after two men I greatly admire.

And you're the one that lowers himself to hang around in a forum devoted to him to harass people. Yay for you.

You can pray to St Francis. Why not go to a Catholic book store and get a prayer card with St. Francis on it. The prayer is on the back.

The prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Prayer of St Francis of Assisi

I'm not sure where that is but names change over the years.

Just curious...do you ever pray directly to Jesus?

I know it well. It's a good'un.

I lived in a town for many years named after St. Albert of Louvain or St. Albert the Great, depending on whose story one believes.
