Seems to me that prayer is directly to god, as opposed to having to go through an intermediary.

Is that not kosher?

Catholics, believe that they can pray to saints, such as Saint Albert. I was curious to see what she believed regarding prayer to Jesus.

More and more I am convinced you never were a Catholic, Vizio. They do NOT pray TO Saints . . . they ASK Saints to pray FOR them. You must not believe we are actually alive as Spirits after death.

One of my favorite Saints.

I used to help a very dear older woman with one of her pets, and she got me a beautiful painting of St. Francis Of Assisi as a gift one year on one of her trips to Europe. I am an animal/nature lover and so was St. Francis

He would also know that praying to Jesus is an integral part of the Catholic faith.

What is Catholic belief regarding prayer to Jesus? The same as any other Christian denomination. A former Catholic would know that.

He must be another one. The first one was cut to pieces and this one was stabbed to death. Making both of them martyrs.

So the next time anyone asks you to pray for them tell them you can't since that would make you an intermediary and that is not right. Not what I believe but what you believe.

Obviously, neither of those Alberts were crocodiles. They probably would not have gone quite so easily.

I wouldn't pray for anyone any more than I would do a voodoo chant over chicken entrails. They both have the same effect.

Us atheists don't do that prayer thing.
