For the married one's it is not allowable to depart from the other.
So, she is not allowed to marry again? Even if he was the one caught in adultery, all she can do is sit around the house, collecting social security--UNLESS she gets back with the cheating louse?

OR if she does remarry, even though she did no wrong, the new marriage is also adultery??

Or why anyone other do not teach this remarriage, when they teach about same subject?
Advice is a far cry from the word of GOD...my advice is those who are mortal ought to think a bit longer before talking, else they are only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal..

Does this apply to women who divorce their husband for the same? Or are men only allowed to divorce a cheating spouse as they go about cheating?

WHo has the stones? Let's go pick another of the 613 Old Testaments laws...

Here are a few==

The priests must receive their share of all dead animals that are slaughtered. (Deuteronomy 18:3)
The priests must receive the first fleece from the shearing of sheep. (Deuteronomy 18:4)
Anything devoted to Yahweh becomes Most Holy to Yahweh and becomes the property of the sanctuary of Yahweh and the priests. (Leviticus 27:28)
To be fit for consumption, clean animals must be slaughtered. (Do not eat what dies of itself or is killed by wild beasts.) (Deuteronomy 12:21)
The blood of slaughtered clean animals must be poured on the ground and covered with earth. (Leviticus 17:10-16)
Set the mother bird free when taking the nest or the young. (Deuteronomy 22:6-7)
Examine the meat of animals to make sure it is permitted for consumption. (Leviticus 11:2-8)
Examine fowl to make sure they are permitted for consumption. (Deuteronomy 14:11-19)
Examine locusts to make sure they are permitted for consumption. (Leviticus 11:20-23)
Examine fish to make sure they are permitted for consumption. (Leviticus 11:9-12)
You obviously so not understand that there is a huge difference for Christians between the "Ceremonial law and the moral law" from the old testament. Christians are not subject to any of the ceremonial laws that God gave to "The children of Israel" under the Mosaic covenant.

huh? What I do understand is a society CANNOT pick and chose what laws they like and laws they do not..and MOST importantly, I do understand the no church has the right to impose ANY religious laws on the community as a whole..Just as NO religious zealot has the right to go around condemning others for what they perceive to be a "sin" based on their narrow interpretation of a book that seems to have no direct connection to modern life..

It is not for the society (or you) to pick, it is a believers individual duty to do what they believe will honor God, and avoid doing what they believe would dishonor God.

Isn't that what I said?

I may have confused you when I said the fundie has no right to harass others or tell them what laws apply to to the public in general..

Is it necessary to saturate your posts with words like "zealot", "bigot", "fundie" etc?

Clanging cymbal?

I give my extra part in every month to those who had, nothing, or too little, and almost every day I preach for improvement for the peoples, so that they may save they souls.

But what you have done, please tell us, how you live in this command to love your neighbor?

And I carry the responsibility for the word, and the doctrines what I share, but do you?
