Why don't you just say what you think that agreement should be?
Any agreement which leaves both sides satisfied will do. For example they could change the rules so that the licensing process is not dependent on one person's signature.

She tried to use the Pope to advance her homophobic agenda. That is despicable.
Her and her lawyers are truly evil people. What a sad excuse for Christians. Yet her supporters will continue to praise her, despite her lies and deception.
No, I was simply stating a fact. However, your statement reveals why you accuse people of hatred unless they agree with the gay agenda.
Well, well. I seem to be off your Ignore list. Now you will be able to use your shaky finger even more and return me to the list of Posters Finn Must Reprimand. How exciting for you!
One more poster to tell off! That makes for a happy day in FundyVille!

Why , when Davis voluntarily took the job knowing that it entailed issuing marriage licenses , and knowing ( unless she is a complete idiot who has spent the last 5 years in a cave) that gay marriage was on the horizon , do the authorities need to come to an agreement to let an insubordinate employee refuse to do the job she accepted and swore to do?
I really don't get where you folks come from on this. Do you really believe she wasn't aware that she would eventually be asked to issue a marriage license to a gay couple when she accepted the job? Or do you think it was OK for her to accept the job dishonestly, knowing she didn't want to fulfill ALL the duties of the job , and when told she had to do ALL her job start crying religious persecution?

The more I think about all that she's done...the more disgusted I become. Using the Pope to further her agenda was WAY over the line. I look forward to her departure from the headlines. No one needs to turn on the TV and hear Ms Davis proclaiming she can discriminate against Americans and ignore the law because she's acting on God's authority.
Which is a lot of hogwash. She's acting on her own..guided by her extremist version of religion and her own delusions. God's got nothing to do with it.
