so what? animals get killed every day, you can combine all of the school shootings, the holocaust, murders done by terrorists and serial killers, basically all of the murders that took place in human history and it's nothing compared to how many animals were murdered, chickens are stuffed into small crates and they suffer broken limbs, pigs are hung upside with their throat cuts and screaming with blood, these murders are nothing, I feel nothing, I don't feel sad, I don't feel happy, I felt bored when I saw this on TV and still do, why? because animals suffer much worse, imagine going to a restaurant to find people eating body parts of your close family members and friends while they smile and laugh, they are enjoying themselves, thats how people should be thinking about when eating animals, just leave animals alone, if you want meat, eat human meat, leave animals alone, it says 2 of the victims killing animals, the killer person killed them like animals

So, let's make this a little more personal. If your mother were to be shot and killed would you compare her death to killing chickens? You would not feel sad. You would feel nothing?

If someone ate my leg.... I hope they say... Chicken... She tastes just like chicken. But, she needs a little salt.

I believe men of faith should take young men and mentor them. Far too many feel disconnected from society. They have surreal ideas about others.
Men of faith can make a real difference. They abdicate their responsibility to do real pastoring. They prefer to put their foot on the neck of women, LGBTQ, and minorities. They are missing the real work.

Jesus was on tour with the Pope.

Your own words:

"Yes, I see it the same way. Evil. Pure evil. We are both talking about fundamental christianity, aren't we?"

I said earlier I am nut surprised Christians are being murdered for their faith when people work overtime trying to paint them as hateful bigots, and you came back calling them pure evil. You proved my point.

Someone else brushed the mass-murders aside by talking about a 'persecution complex'.

Was the holocaust also just a percecution complex?

Are these events a complex, or were people actually murdered?

They were murdered.

Because if you're going to claim people were shot because they were saying they were Christian, then you need to explain why Christ didn't save them.
Exactly...... He said I AM with you always.

This has always been my fear. When a group does a public event, how many feel the have to attend so they are not singled out? Just like the pledge..Have you ever tried to stay seated during the recital of the pledge? It is nearly impossible to do without getting all kinds of looks and comments.

While I agree those who wish to conduct religious events ought to be free to do so, we must teach others it is equally acceptable NOT to participate if they do not want to. And MORE importantly, those holding the event must ACCEPT others are not COMPELLED or to be INSULTED for opting out.

Preach it.

I've seen mentoring change lives. I've seen angry, lost, fatherless young men be taken under wing and shown they matter. Mentoring changes lives for the better. Mentoring makes a difference.

The only point that was proven is one that has been proven many times over - that you totally lack reading comprehension.

Let's review. You charged -

I never said a word about whether the people who had been murdered were evil. I was quite obviously, and quite specifically, speaking of christian fundamentalism in general.

Honestly, I am convinced that the biggest reason you fundies are so angry all the time is that you simply don't know how to read. You just scan for key words like some sort of software program, and when you see one, you flip out over it.
