The bad news is that we all are sinners who have been condemned by God, and there is nothing we can do to change that fact by our own efforts.
Romans 3:23 . . . all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23a . . . the wages of sin is death . . .
The good news is that God's Son, Jesus Christ, volunteered to take care of our sin problem and free us from God's condemnation. He paid the penalty for the sins of the world and received God the Father's unique punishment when he died on the cross in our place.
1 Peter 3:18 . . . for Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.
Romans 6:23b . . . but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Notice that eternal life is a gift ! How can we get this free gift?
By simply believing in Jesus Christ.

"obedience" only is why we have to have laws. But if you don't understand that , yes, if you did the very best with how you were made and didn't hurt too many people along the way you are saved. well, you should understand two things. you were not saved because you were not judged by this thing. And "saving" is like the song amazing gace, if you were "lost" in life and then "found" "alive" or "awake" but that is a human understanding of grace. God's grace is far, well, I can't find the word, ... bigger?
God's grace can never be earned. He died preemtively on the cross for our sins. However we do need to accept him as our Lord and Savior in order to reap the rewards of His death on the cross and the grace that comes with it.
Some people say well what's the point of living a holy life if he continually forgives us and lavishes his grace? It's true once you accept him you can never have salvation or the grace taken away. However, living a life worthy of His calling provides a much smoother life and walk for us. Just because God doesn't smite us doesn't mean it's glorifying and edifying to the kingdom of God, the world we live in and ultimately healthy for our own being.
The human authors of the Bible, men with whom God actually communicated, men to whom Jesus actually spoke, men such as John and Paul, say differently. Your rejection of what they say doesn't change the reality of the situation. All men were condemned on the basis of Adam's sin. But God provided the solution to the problem.
John 3:18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged (as in condemned) already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Romans 5:15 But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. 16] The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. 17] For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. 18] So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. 19] For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
Some will choose to believe your denial. I believe the men to whom God actually communicated His word.

Where do those verses say God condemns people?
Anyway, I know that if God is love, (as the bible you believe in declares), then God condemns no one. The two ideas are self-contradictory. Either God is love OR God condemns -- both statements can be wrong, but they can't both be right.

You know nothing. The men to whom God actually communicated His word, His truth, have recorded in Scripture that man was condemned because of sin, and that God provided the means to remedy the situation. God's righteousness demanded a penalty for sin. God's justice carried out the requirements of His righteousness by condemning mankind, and God's love motivated Him to provide salvation from condemnation by sending Christ Jesus into the world to die for our sins, as our substitute, so that whoever simply trusts in Him for eternal life is delivered from condemnation.
