Very much so.

And what wheat can be plucked from the biblical chaff can be found here, there and everywhere good-hearted people can be found - no religious belief or holy book required.

There is no such thing as an "ex-Christian". Once you have experienced the love of God, in Christ, there's no going back. The attraction is too strong.

Those who say they have left Christianity never had it in the first place......they all will claim they believed, but if you leave you never had the Spirit. Those who have the Spirit have it eternally and it can't be lost because it is the very power of God at work in ALL believers..........

1Jn 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.

jimmie, tell that to the millions of ex-Christians who walked away from Jesus and never looked back. Your rose-colored glasses are turning an impenetrable deep red.

I just did. If you look at this thread (or any similar one), there is rarely any mention of Jesus, but rather the disparagement of the Bible and Christians.

Yeah.

Uh-huh.

Just keep repeating it over and over and over like good little robots.

I guess the lesson to be learned here, then, is that all you people who think you're Christians who have the Spirit and have experienced the "love of God, in Chrits" (like we ex-Christians all did) are probably wrong. See you in hell, peeps.

If you did, you will be in Heaven with Jesus. What will you say to Him?

So is it possible to be a Christian one day, give Jesus up the next and still get to heaven?

This is absolutely true. Unfortunately, when you have you would NOT be able to judge, condemn, discriminate against, or mistreat anyone no matter what you THINK their sins might be. I am afraid that casts some serious doubt on whether or not you and the other fundies here have actually experienced Christ's love, jimmie.
