You would think he would resign, but no. This is why no one should join the man-made organized church/es.

If he wouldn't continue his "ministry of condemnation", then maybe it would have been worth the embarrassment, but frankly, he doesn't even sound embarrassed.

Only some politicians rival some religious leaders when it comes to sanctimonious hypocrisy.

They are mankind's biggest blights.

Christians believe that their pastors are forgiven. So this man's actions mean nothing. Even sexual sin which they consider worse than murder, theft, etc.

As long as he is a "believer" is all that matters. Everything is forgiven before it even happens.

This is why "faith" Christianity causes so much destruction and evil across the planet. Christians can do whatever they want because they are redeemed.

I don't think all Christians think this way. But certainly a lot do seem to think very little of sin. Like you, I do get the impression that there are many Christians who think sexual sin is worse than murder. I have never understood why. I think the people who sit in pews and allow a man to spoon feed them the bible just don't know any better.

and I think people who continue to tell others what they should believe need to find a new hobby.
Preachers are humans and they make mistakes, it is up to the congregation to determine how they as a congregation want to handle it and NO, those who believe do not condone such things.
Many of you have no idea what you are talking about but I do always find it curious that those who do not have any belief talk about God and Religion all the time.
By the way, thanks, every word spoken about God glorifies God, continue on.

One simply does not PREACH against something on a regular basis then go out and PARTICIPATE in that activity--that is called a FALSE teacher who lives on a daily diet of ALTERNATIVE FACTS and believes they are ABOVE the word--UNTIL they get caught then it is all about forgiveness--until they get caught it is all about the eroticism they experience and while it is happening they are praising their tiny god in the box they are not like other sinnners because the believe god is rewarding them....

I think it stems, in this country, from our Puritan roots.
