Purity of heart is a big thing...thought , word, deed...all the hidden recesses...pure.

I think Adam and Eve were created with purity of heart, and Earth was always to be their eternal home.
Adam and Eve were never in heaven, and offered everlasting life on a beautiful paradisical Earth forever and ever.
Adam's father was his Heavenly Father although Adam was Not an angelic creation but physical.
So, why would earthly Adam ever think he (and we) all deserve Heaven.
The ones of Luke 22:28-30 were offered Heaven, and in the end they would have real purity of heart.
In the meantime, at Matthew 25:31-33,37,40, I find that people are classed as either figurative sheep or goats.
The meek (sheep) that will inherit the Earth as Jesus' promised at Matthew 5:5 in connection to Psalm 37:10-11,29.
Those who 'get there' (inherit Earth) are classed as 'righteous' ones at Matthew 25:37, so they too will gain real purity of heart during Jesus' coming 1,000-year governmental rulership over Earth begins. So, for now there are those who are considered as having a pure-or-complete heart toward God with the opportunity to gain everlasting life on Earth as originally offered to Adam before his downfall.
