What does that have to do with your comment that "Even though Jesus died at 12 noon, His death is not considered as daytime 1."?
Because if you are using the lunar calendar, daytime 1 would be from 12 noon to about 6 pm (or at sunset). But I am using a solar calendar.

A lunar calendar is from sunrise to sunset, a twelve hour period...

Not in the era of that time...A day was rendered sunrise to sunset and a night was sunset to sunrise...

What the heck does it matter if you go by a lunar calendar or a solar calendar? As Richard1965 points out, either way a daytime goes from sunrise to sunset.

BTW, what do you call the period of time from sunrise to noon if not daytime?

For your information, the Jews' day starts at sunset and ends the following day's sunset, 24 hour period. The Jews are using a lunar calendar with only 354/355 days in a lunar year. I am using a solar calendar that starts at midnight and ends the following day's midnight. It has 365/366 days in a solar year.

Please read my reply to Richard1965 regarding the difference between a lunar calendar and a solar calendar.

If you are using a lunar calendar, then noon to sunset is daytime1, as the Jews consider a fraction of a day as one day. But I am using a solar calendar which starts the day at midnight. Hence, the start of the 24-hour period is at midnight yet. The first 24-hour period is already Friday, the high day Sabbath.

peacecrusader888,
re: "If you are using a lunar calendar, then noon to sunset is daytime1..."

As is sunrise to noon also during daytime 1. And that is true using a solar calendar - sunrise to noon is during daytime 1. What is your point?

For your information, I am a Jew...

Default Which day was the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus?

Would someone explain to me why we should care about this?
