Well, OP is just talking about recreational use, unless that's what you mean. Grant that recreation is beneficial in its own right. are there studies on benefits of recreational marijuana?

Too bad you worship a terrifying god. I'll stay with the God of love, life, and eternity.

Is that a brand of MJ? How about the old-school, unflavored approach?

It can calm a noisy mind. Study by MQ with a representative sample of 1.

I have no idea if those studies exist. But I don't need studies to tell me that relaxing, slowing down, releasing anxiety, and appreciating moments as they unfold, is deleterious to my well-being.

Or anybody's. With the usual caveat of "within moderation - do not operate heavy machinery..." etc.

If wine was acceptable in Jesus time why did they drink it? I’m sure they were getting a buzz on it. Same with Marijuana. It’s actually safer than drinking. It doesn’t matter what your beliefs, Marijuana is an herb. If you enjoy smoking it or eating it why not? I’m not for manufactured pills but Marijuana has lots of good things about it too. If not it wouldn’t be legal in some cities. Soon, maybe under a different administration it may be legal throughout the country.

I smoked a mix of Brown and Blue Amphora for 35 years. Quit at age 55, a year after the stent was put in my heart.

I still miss it, 11 years later.

PS - But the fact I'm still typing 11 years later might have something to do with giving it up.

It's going to be legal across Canada this July.

I expect an upswing in immigration.
