We are darkened in our understanding and we set up our own righteousness against God's - didn't we kill the Lord of Glory? Isn't the name of Jesus Christ still being used as a curse word every day by millions of people? It's better to come to the conclusion that we are sinful and wicked, and that God is good and Holy before it is too late my friend. We are really in no position to judge God.

A collection of old pamphlets is not God.

Keep holding tight to that rebellious spirit while you can Trout, it will surely drag you down into the eternal misery described in the 'old pamphlets' as hell.

Unfortunately, that is the "given" in Christian Dogma that perverts the Gospel of Christ. The "precepts and doctrines of men" in the words "written in ink" have become their God and they ignore the Comforter and what God has "written in our hearts."

Every time someone threatens people with hell for not bowing down to the bible, I can't help thinking of the three witches from Macbeth.

Double, double, toil and trouble,
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

We’ll boil you in the cauldron next—a slice of swamp snake. All the rest of you in too: a newt’s eye, a frog’s tongue, fur from a bat, a dog’s tongue, the forked tongue of an adder, the stinger of a burrowing worm, a lizard’s leg, an owl’s wing. Make a charm to cause powerful trouble, and boil and bubble like a broth of hell.

That's a breath of fresh air.

This view point needs casting in the lake of fire.

In the dark ages Luther saw something within the scriptures he never saw before, although it was always there, but having seen it proclaimed it, but it was dismissed by that present age church. This same thing as happened throughout the ages, things being seen in the scriptures although never seen before but always have been there. And the pattern is always one where the present age church rejects what has always been there which is only at that moment being seen. So when you are being called a new ager , heretic or the like, you are in good company.

Of course people will be in God's presence, just as they always have been and are now, whether they recognize it or not.

I am already well aware of your attempts to bind the Spirit to your Bible, but you can't.

The Bible idolators are tenacious about it.
