I do not elevate myself. He has.

“If they have kept my word they will keep yours.” The reason is that the words are the same.

“The son can do nothing on his own, he can only do what he sees the Father doing, whatever the Father does the son does likewise for the Father loves the son and whatever he does He shows him.”(Jesus )
I’m not judging you, or saying you are elevating yourself

Being judgemental of each other is not ‘the way’ that Jesus promoted at all

We're all sinners. No exceptions. Acknowledge the sin, have faith and repent, and accept God's forgiveness. Christianity 101.
"sinless perfection" is a misnomer that is applied to the doctrine of "entire sanctification" in order to produce a straw man that is easily toppled by 1 John 1:8.

While the doctrine in question does not contend that sin is eradicated from a man (so that he could say that he has no sin); but rather that it is rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over his behaviour (Romans 6:14) as an element that is dwelling within his mortal flesh.

Thus there is no contradiction between 1 John 1:8 and a literal rendering of 1 John 3:5-9.

1 John 1:8 does not say "If we say that we do no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us."

It should be clear that we do no sin if we are truly born of God (1 John 3:5-9)

On a positive note, if the Bible is false, then God cannot righteously hold anyone accountable.

That's what many have come to believe? And, it is merely a belief.
