If we are saved by grace, do you not think you would be
able to find it at least once in the bible where Jesus is
quoted as to saying, "we are saved by grace". Don't that seem a little
suspicious to you that something is not right?
John 3:16?

Sorry but no where in that verse is the word "grace"
or the term "saved by grace". Besides all that it is written
that God is going to destroy that same world with fire
in the old and new testament.
So how is that verse even true anymore in
the scheme of things? Please explain?

The word grace is not used in that passage, but’s that what it is describing.

No, that is what you are describing as grace. Or should I say
that is what you are adding to it.

In modern day English it means kindness Kat

This is basically the Catholic definition

Grace is the very Life of God

Jesus expressed the concept of grace in salvation without using the word 'grace' when he said to the Samaritan woman that if she knew the gift of God and had asked him he would have given her living water springing up to eternal life. The gift refers to eternal life and all she had to do was ask for it which she then did. (John 4:10-15).

Neither verse has anything to do with the concept of grace. Eternal salvation is a free gift as both Jesus and Paul stated. Revelation 22:17 as well states that eternal life is free . . .without cost.

Eternal life is free. It is discipleship which is costly. They are two different things.
