This is a word used frequently within Christianity, and with very good reason. But it seems that it's another one of those terms we Christians don't seem to be in agreement on as to what it actually means. Without just saying, "We're saved by grace," explain what you believe "grace" actually is.

Grace is simply God's attitude toward fallen mankind. God treats mankind on the basis of who and what he is rather than on the basis of who and what we are. A person can treat others in grace - on the basis of his own character regardless of how objectionable others may be.

Grace is the empowering Presence and Power of God which enables us to be who He created us to be; and to do what He has called us to do. It has nothing to do with his mercy (unmerited favor) or that of a Penal Substitution theory. Rather, it is that which enables us to overcome, any and all obstacles that might be hindering our Spiritual growth and maturity. Unmerited favor, would be that of having or showing mercy and forgiveness to an enemy through that of love. Especially, one who spitefully persecutes you, "father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

True love will triumph in the end—which may or may not be a lie, but if it is a lie; it's the most beautiful lie we have."

That is very similar to the way I explain it to the men I teach in jail. I usually say something along these lines:

We need God's help in order to become all that He has given us the potential, as His children, to become. It is by grace that we are not only “saved” but made better. While it is true that the Plan of Salvation is designed to bring us home to our Father in Heaven, it is designed even more to bring us home to Him transformed into better sons and daughters than we started out. Grace is the divine assistance that makes it possible for us to handle things we can’t figure out, can’t do, can’t overcome and can’t manage on our own. If there is anything in your life that you can’t figure out, can’t do, can’t overcome and can’t manage on your own, you need to seek out your Father in Heaven’s grace. Grace gives us the power to be able to do the kinds of good things that we want to be able to do but would be unable to do without help. Because of grace, not only can we go home someday to our Father in Heaven, but we can “feel at home” in His presence. We will feel like we belong with him because, though grace, we have become what He wants us to become.

I think maybe you're referring to the idea that when you do something for someone, not because you expect something in return and not because the person has earned it, you have done it out of grace. If that's what you mean, I can not only understand your perspective, but agree with it.

Yes. Grace, whether with reference to God or to a person is a mental attitude with respect to others. Additionally, grace can be said to be the policy of God toward mankind.

"Definition of providence
1.divine guidance or care

2God conceived as the power sustaining and guiding human destiny"

like in:
7"Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power."

Means the things that God gives to His children, Like He draws converts is grace, He makes people born again, He gets people baptized in the Holy Spirit, He gives gifts of the spirit which can be endless prayer which He answers, He forgives sin, He delivers people from the devil when they engage, He can prepare people to be of one accord, He can rule over bad weather and end a storm, and can remove too much co2 gas in the earth, He can rule over governments of the world and judge them for His plan, He can stop war, and stop people from hurting others, He can prevent accidents when people pray. He can do endless things that the world may never see ...... See everything God does is a gift of charity or grace

You cannot find in the bible anywhere Jesus
is ever quoted as to saying where anyone is saved by grace.
If we are saved by grace, do you not think you would be
able to find it at least once in the bible where Jesus is
quoted as to saying, "we are saved by grace". Don't that seem a little
suspicious to you that something is not right?
