to teach that God Loves everyone is a false Gospel.. For God loves His elect in and through Jesus christ, all else are hated..

No, I'm sincerely beginning to see that Beloved57, just dont and cant believe Gods word...!

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

1John 4:18-21
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Blessings

B 57---I'm not trying to pick on you, but will use this post for example purposes.

GOD is very misunderstood by many, many people. I recall a scripture in the Old Testament where HE told His people Israel, that they did not understand Him.

The distinction made between Jacob and Esau, is the same as the distinction made between the Church and the unbelieveing Hebrews in the book of Romans. While GOD can and does sever all ties with some people, that is He kills them and cast thier soul into hell, yet, sometimes while people are still in the world, He will use His temporary rejection of them, in an effort to save them. So GOD Who is love, is always working to help people come to true repentance and faith towards Him.

Jacob recieved special favor from GOD. This was the will of GOD, and not by the will of Jacob. Jacob recieved grace. But GOD had and has an eternal purpose in what He did with Jacob. He would bless Jacob and use Him in blessing others and helping others come to the knowledge of the Truth, because GOD wants to save all people. GOD is love.

But all people can only be saved when they are willing to recieve the grace from GOD and continue to walk therein.

Esau, even so, was granted love from GOD. GOD still gave him enough to continue living. As it it written, "GOD sends rain upon the just and the unjust."

Esau still could have turned from his wicked ways and repented.

People do have the ability to accept or reject fellowship with GOD.

Those who end up in hell are those who have totally rejected the love of GOD. They rejected the only one Who could save them. So there is no more redemption possible.

The rich young ruler loved his money. He was not willing at that time to follow JESUS CHRIST, because JESUS ordered him to give all his wealth to the poor, then come and be a part of His decipleship. So the young man rejected CHRIST, though CHRIST offered Him salvation. The young man chose to serve money. So, unless that man later repented, GOD would have also rejected him.

In edit...It is important not to take for granted the offer of grace from GOD. We none know the time of our departure. Follow JESUS today. Do not put it off!

With God all things are possible. God has all power and His love never fails. It was His good pleasure to reconcile all to Himself. God bless.

I only wish I knew how to change the font sizes for this:

GOD LOVES YOU!*

Its pretty astonishing how the rich young ruler as been given a hard time on here the last couple of days.

The latest lets have a go at the rich young ruler is this "because JESUS ordered him to give all his wealth to the poor".

We pretentiously say we have given all to follow Jesus , but if the truth be known we are held by far more things than what this rich young ruler was held by , which only appeared to be money.

If we are using the same rule of thumb none of us would receive eternal life.

I really do not think for one minute Jesus was commanding Him to sell up and give it all to the poor .He was showing him what is god is.

Jesus said give and it shall be given unto you good measure pressed down shaken together . If He had given it all away the Lord would have blessed him a hundred fold anyway.

You see its not what we keep it's what keeps us. Where your treasure is your heart will be also.

Before we give the rich young ruler a hard time lets make sure there is nothing in our lives that is keeping us.

God is love and He loves despite contracts, even wherever love is prohibited, and wherever retrictions exist. Has no eligibility requirements. He gave His Son for us when we were sinners, loved us when we were sinners, His enemies, is never cancelled because He is love. God bless.

The only way anyone can believe that god loves everyone is to have little clue of what is happening in the world around them.
Yes, it's best that the believers stay in their safe churches, stick their heads into the bible, and avoid the reality of the world, otherwise the believers may soil their pants.

Nowhere in the NT is the word love used in present tense it is always used in past tense. God doesn't love everyone his love is available to everyone but it is up to them. Don't think that God loves everyone cause that is a false belief. He hates workers of iniquity.
