If recent trends are any guide, many Church of England parishes will have been cheered by higher attendances at Easter services. The last published statistics for 2006/7 show rises of 7 and 5 per cent in church going at Christmas and Easter.

Old news, John

Way back in 2004 I read a new article that in British schools only 1 of seven kids is actually British, that anglo-saxon British that we know of.

Chickens have come home to roost, what else. This is a doze of their own medicine. Reverse colonization or whatever man's burden as they would say.

Is this really the land of Edward Longshanks and Victoria anymore

The real problem in Britain and in every nation, is the falling away. There has simply been a major falling away from the correct understanding of the Words of JESUS CHRIST. When this happens, spiritual problems always result.

One day, perhaps soon, GOD will send two prophets, who will testify the Words of JESUS CHRIST. They will bear witness of our LORD JESUS. We will know them by the fruit they bear. The record of these two prophets is written in Revelation.

Everyone would do well to listen to them, when that ministry begins.

God as not forgotten Great Britain , the nation is in darkness , but not beyond His reach .

My prayer is that God softens the hard heart of the nation and that rivers of living waters flow through the land , healing it , as i write this i am weeping . Heal our nation Lord pour out your spirit on our Land.

God is deeply interested in the spirituality of Britain and the spiritual journey of each person who lives there. I think it is good that people are aware that not everyone, in fact only a minority of people in Britain, follow Jesus Christ. Many people from other religions assume that Britain is Christian and assume that the moral decline of the nation is a commentary on the followers of Jesus Christ and ultimately on Christ himself.

I firmly believe the next move of God over the nation will be one like never before witnessed there .It will not be an altar call revival or of signs and wonders ,or of filling church buildings ,though these thing may or will happen ,it will begin with the revival of the heart of the believer brought about by the revelation of Christ in you , this will prelude a huge harvest.

Is it any surprise that people are turning away from religion in the UK.
We see the church of England tearing it'self apart because of the ordination of gay priests.
We see catholic priests involved in child abuse worldwide, and whats worse we see the catholic church protecting these deviants.
Can anyone please tell me what the church has to offer the citizens of the UK other than a collection dish.
