actually Jesus was dead and risen already when paul wrote..but that doesnt matter, the point is that God has a chosen remnant[election of grace] at any given time..

People always scream at me to put stuff in context...well the context at the time was the people whom Paul was writing to at the time...the present time...not the future time.
