• Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes
The above blindness is temporary

 • Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
Ignorance of this mystery leads to boasting against the "non elect", being highminded, being wise in one's own conceits.
 • Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
 • Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
 • Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
No the blindeness is not temporary, it doesnt say it was temporary, but until the end of the gentiles..

lk 21:

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

rom 11:

25For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Guess what ? That will be at the second coming, so ethnic Israel will remain blinded [except the election of grace] until the second coming, and then along with the other blinded people in the world they will be punished for their sins..

Jesus christ is the Saviour of the World, of His elect..not the seed of the serpent, they dont have Christ as a Saviour..

Matt 23:

33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

The whole world does not equal the elect!

Nor does the firstfruits = the whole harvest!

Nor does especially equal only!

I must admit your words remind this humble soul of something I came across in my scriptual walk-a-bout:

Give a cool cup of water to someone who is thirsty, for instance. The smallest act of giving or receiving makes you a true apprentice.

Ahhh yes, now give me an amen, AMEN, that is refreshing don't you think

Shana Brown is on the right track. All are saved but not in the same way or the same time. God sent His Son to save all of his creation. All are saved through the blood of the cross... including the Muslim and the Jew… even Hitler and Stalin… even the UNBELIEVER who lives today. The elect will not go through the second death that others have to go through. It is a complex issue and you need to read and study a good Bible to get the truth of God’s love. Go to www.concordant.org and be ready to read, pray, and study. Google k7vhq and write me if you like. This is serious business and if you are blessed, John 3:27 will be good to you. Bob

Follow the pronouns:
 • Romans 11: 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid:
God forbid that the "rest who were blinded" have stumbled that they should fall.
