That's a risky view. Overcoming is never qualified in that way. Producing fruits is, of course.

What is wrong with the word 'cares'? Does 'careth' assist people to overcome?

"careth" Copied that from e-sword - take it up with the translators

They are all dead.

Very
dead!

Even e-sword has something nearer to the living than that.

Phazelwood,
I agree.

Christendom teaches just the opposite of 1 Timothy 2:4-6.
They teach God will not save all mankind.

God tells us to teach that "God will save all mankind."

Christendom teaches just the opposite of 1 Timothy 4:10:
They teach "God is not the saviour of all mankind, just believers."

God tells us to teach that "God is the Saviour of all mankind, especially them that believe"
It does not say "only them that believe."

Christendom gets many teachings of God backwards and they condemn all who want to actually do specifically what God tells us to teach!

Jesus died for all mankind- paid for all sins- and is perceived as the saviour of all- but only those who accept him as lord will actually be saved.

Quite easy, really.

How could he die for all mankind if the majority of mankind never even heard of him and so never had any opportunity to accept him as their saviour?

All will believe, all will bow- but most will go to destruction.

Yes.

1C 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Praise God.
