I would say it appears so . It seems to me reading these posts that some miraculously understood the whole counsel of God the moment they believed,

When the Lord opened my eyes to His salvation , i was amazed to hear that Noah was an old testament saint , i seriously believed he was a cartoon character.

In fairness, I get critisized because I believe I know more than some believe we can know.

I can relate, Satan as a red horned beast makes me laugh.

For some reason I never remember if you believe in UR or not. It's really weird because I don't have this problem with anyone else.
I guess I won't forget now that I wrote this! lol

I agree brian!

To FINN, et al.-
satan - שָׂטָן
Is not a proper noun.... and means: opponent, adversary, accuser

Derived from מַעְבָּדִים which is: work

devil - diabolos - slanderous, accusing falsely, malicious gossip

Interestingly there is not a person called SATAN but a word that has come to mean a person.

So while I believe there are slanderers, opponents, adversaries, accusers, and malicious gossipers... I don't believe in SATAN any more than SANTA.

What I think is there is too much labelling and generalising and not enough talking to each other as individuals JMHO It is so easy to do ...... label and generalise, we all do it and then we do not hear what someone else is saying we look at all the generalisations

IMO This whole thread is full of just that ..........

There is judgment that starts at the house of God

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1Pe 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
1Pe 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
1Pe 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
1Pe 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
1Pe 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1Co 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
