Hm, not really sure about your questions, but I live in Milford and it's a great little city. Definitely growing a whole lot since I moved here in 2007. Downtown has awesome restaurants (20 Brix, Padrino, MJ's on Main, Big Poppa Slim's), a cupcake place, a bakery, and a cafe. Do you have any other questions about the area? I should know... ;P

Milford proper is an older river town, with some really gorgeous old houses and neighborhoods.
It's one of the neatest "old town" suburbs in the Cincy area. Love it!

Thank you, you all are giving me areas to investigate. BTW, Old Town Milford is very nice, great coffee house where they roast their own beans/serve breakfast/lunch. Enchanted Moments is a great store. Bummer Alley Beads just closed down. There are condo apartments going up on the riverfront. The Old Town Milford housing is very nice.

But your input on the commute is so important since it will be daily. We definately need "Old Town" somewhere, know our neighbors, shop local, walk to the coffee house.

Take a look at Olde West Chester. It is definitely much smaller than Milford but a lot closer commute wise. That trip around I-275 is no picnic, particularly in bad weather.

Did you take a look at Loveland? Closer to Fairfield, for starters. The housing in the older parts of town, in my opinion, isn't as nice as in Milford, but Loveland is definitely worth consideration.

We definatly want an easier commute to Fairfield while still being sorta half way to my cousin in Milford.

I will consider Loveland, I have been there to tour the castle which is very cool.
