You want to see people who will literally rip you apart and kill you for doing nothing besides accidentally looking the wrong way, then try dealing with gangsters in any city, and especially LA and Chicago, where gang members go crazy on you.

Detroit, Baltimore, and New Orleans too. All 5 of those cities would be on my list to avoid the bad areas in them all.

Oh and just because this is Killakoolaide's thread, I nominate San Francisco to be on the "Go hard, or go home crying" cover, no body can touch SF on toughness.
