Agree i am not sure any stadium in college can compare with the Rosebowl in this regard; especially how it relates to Bowl games

The Rose Bowl. Better weather and location.

Sure the Cotton Bowl is well known, but it's not as well known as the Rose Bowl. Sorry that Texas isn't the center of the universe to everyone.

The Rose Bowl is in a nicer neighborhood too. Less likelihood of getting jacked in the area around there than you are in the Fair Park area, where the Cotton Bowl is.

It's funny, because one of the GREATEST games ever played in The Rose Bowl was Texas WINNING the National Championship in 06.

I'm probably the only guy at UT- Austin to rep Michigan more, or any other school aside Texas more for that matter.

I used to go to school in Ann Arbor for my first year of college before transferring to Austin. I get some dirty looks when I wear my Michigan Wolverines jacket.... HAHAHAHA, it's rather funny.

Yeah but he does have a point. There was no need to post this in bold in this thread. Not one person has showed the so called prideful act of Texans in this thread. You posted this in spite and it was unnecessary.

Now my answer is a tie. There is nothing like TX/OU in Mid-October. However, during bowl season, the Rose Bowl slaughters the Cotton bowl. If the Cotton Bowl committee actually kept up with the stadium, it would be a BCS bowl right now. It was one of the classic bowl games even more than the Fiesta Bowl. That said, the Rose isn't called the granddaddy of them all for nothing.
