The Tulsa voter come tell us good things about Tulsa, I don't know much about it, and would like to know more.

Within the region, I'd say Dallas by a hair, but it's a virtual tie between it and Houston.

Agree with National Importance
Shipping= equal. Houston has the seaport. Dallas has the airport which is one of the top cargo airports in the nation
Won't argue for the next three.
Better museums= Houston
Better Arts Scene= shared and Dallas in the near future could have the superior Arts district when they are complete with construction.
Houston's Economy is on the move and rapidly diversifying.

as for the art scene superior art venues does not amount to a superior art scene. Ask SA about their gorgeous theaters that produce mediocre art

Houston is the one with permanent casts in all performing arts areas not Dallas

This is really a tough one because I think these are all great cities.

Dallas/Houston are definitely the most influential.

OK City and Fort Worth are the cities that are the most on the rise right now.

New Orleans/Tulsa are the most eclectic/cultured cities.

Little Rock is probably in the most beautiful area.

San Antonio/Austin are great to visit as there is a ton to do as both cities are in the Hill Country.

Again, I would enjoy living in any of these cities.....so that is my assessment.....but ssssshhhhhhhhh, keep it a secret!

(Great question by the way, HTown.)

Culturally. Dallas, from what I hear, has more flash associated with it. I also know its influences extend to the Oklahoma metros, Arkansas, and northern LA. Houston gets the Gulf region, but I think Dallas has more folks.
