We too are done
This doesn't even include the students that usually live in areas like that and the fact that 31k is an average meaning many people make more then that. Stop with the elitist stereotypes.

It is just a few on here who use the density nonsense to put down cities like Houston, Phoenix and Atlanta.

90% would prefer their own backyard in those very north eastern cities if they could afford it, but since they can't they get all jealous and turn it into a bad thing.

So lack of backyard use = sad childhood?

again, atleast we didn't swallow up the entire county. We would be knocking on LA's door if we did. There is over 4M people living in Harris County

It's not a stereotype. You can't argue with a fact haha. The area may have a decent percentage of students living in the area, but there are still more people living below the poverty line than students.

I knew I wasn't drunk. I am not saying that the NE doesn't have suburbs. I am saying that y'all who can't afford a nice house in the burbs, get all cranky and jealous and turn it into a bad thing.

step away from the bottle Paul. You've got work 2morrow

Harris county is 1750 sq miles, the size of the Philly Urbanized area with 5.4 million people. LA is 470 sq miles with 3.8 million people. I don't even understand the relevance of your point. NYC covers 5 counties technically...

My dogs sure love their yard/park.

A 100lbs Boxer and 150lbs mastiff running around the house does not produce pretty results

HTown I gave up my 2 acres and 4,500 sq ft house in the burbs to move back into the city. I was miserable there (maybe on CD too)

And also is my exact point on the city just as people choose the burbs there are also people that choose the city, not because they cant afford but because they choose to, and many times these neighborhoods cost more not less, your statement and rebuttal is grossly inaccurate and that is and was my original point.
