Nothing in the east can compare with the western US (mountain west, west coast, PNW).

We can live anywhere in the US - We work from home -- Where should we choose? We want to live in a beautiful state with decent schools. We have two sons ages 16 (Straight A's and Varsity Runner) and age 8.

We live in an absolutely beautiful state, Wisconsin but too cold.

So where would you all move?

Oh also wanted to add -- We have lived in NC, Florida, Texas, Illinois, WI

Right now on our scope we are investigating -- Austin, Raleigh, Fountain Hills, AZ, somewhere in California but know nothing about the state and others. Obviously you can see I'm looking for warm and beautiful!

False. In the fall, the west can't hold a candle in the fall colors in the NE. Also, the spring is beautiful because the East has many more decidious trees. I've been east and west. I love both areas but I don't get why so many people from the west are so shallow in the ideas of beauty. It's almost like some are too insecure to admit the east is pretty. Sure the mountains aren't as tall but I don't think that's less beautiful. The eastern united states is amazing.

I don't understand why we have to pick a side. It's all part of the same country. We should just say the U.S. is beautiful, because it really is. All of it.

I love the look and feel of my home state, Mass and all of New England.

But the single prettiest state i've been to has got to be Alaska, IMO.
