You sound extremely dramatic, and not just about the weather.
Maybe some godforsaken place in the valley could have seen 115 as a record for all time....

What is you job ?

If its tech. Then California is a better choice for you. And if you are looking for better weather and. Better cities and a funner atmosphere, California is for you. California has better business opportunities, better tech scene, by far more fun, and quality of life you cant beat.
But its your choice.

come to Florida we have the best Nightlife, theme parks, attractions, it's just beautiful here and lots and lots and lots to do thanks to the Florida keys that give us a lot more things to do California is a nice state but I wouldn't prefer it better than Florida due to crime rate yea we top but California is higher, our best beaches in the world thanks to Miami beach and so Fla and key west , the schools are actually not bad and it's not a bad state to live well certain parts of it not

There isn't a single period in this post. Where do your sentences begin and end?

Also, why do you keep bumping the same types of threads?

Florida is more violent and crime ridden compared to California.

Well, temperature readings in the valley over 110 degrees are relatively rare. Although the record maximum temperature in Woodland Hills, in the southwest San Fernando Valley, is 119 degrees.

I have been recording the temperatures where I live since 1980 and the highest I have seen is 114.5 degrees. Lowest reading was 28 degrees.

My head hurts after reading that.

Would you like to take that statement back, please?

Both have their good and bad points, but I'd choose Florida for sure, especially to live as oppose to just visiting. FL has wonderful beaches, the Orlando theme parks, TSP/Miami/Key West, Everglades and all at a level of affordability that CA can't match........I've noticed, not just on this thread, but many similar ones, people needlessly arguing over "best", "better", "cool factor", etc., with the emphasis on "arguing" instead of just going back and forth with points of view. A lot of this is just personal experiences and opinions instead of scientific fact. Yes, numbers and stats can be used to make a point and give a ranking in certain criteria, but people want and seek different things in where they live or visit. I guess the key is attempting to find as close to the median as you can where as many people as possible can agree that an area or areas are in a select group of "the best". For me, cost of living is a deal-breaking category. But for some, having a high level of rapid transit is more important. Are either of us "wrong"? No, we just look for different things. But some on here are hilarious in how someone else's different tastes or needs not the same as their's drives them nuts and are so bend on being "right", lol. I mean, wow! lol

If the schools in Florida were at least halfway decent, maybe I would actually be able to read this post.

Outside of Miami and South Beach, the majority of the state is flat, humid, lots of bugs and trailer parks.
