Very much true.

How many Giants fans REALLY existed before 2010? :P #shotsfired
And now with the sudden "Lifelong Warriors fans" out of nowhere only contributes to my theory. Ask any random Warrior fan who Baron Davis, Chris Mullin, or even Monta Ellis (I know, that was so long ago too!) is, and you'd get a blank stare

I'm just a bitter Laker fan though. Don't mind me

Disagree.

Edit: Something I find fascinating about this forum is that people can say things about where I'm from that very well could be 100% correct, but are 100% incorrect in regards to my lifelong experiences within my own little world here.

You're confusing a biodiversity hotspot with a rain-forest that extends in several South American countries.
You're killing me with this biodiversity nonsense. What's next? Florida better rest stops?

California destroys Florida in nearly every category...and I say that as someone who likes Florida quite a bit.

Warm ocean water and a lower cost of living are the only two +'s in the Florida column.

There were only like a few hundred of them though though I did enjoy them choking against the Angels in 2002.

The The Angels Angels of not The Angels. That team

LOL @ Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Along with the "Golden State" Warriors, that is the second stupidest location title in professional sports. The Warriors aren't California's team (even if they do have the best record this year). When they move to San Francisco in a few years, they should change the name back to San Francisco Warriors.
