Problem with that reasoning is, not all snows in Chicago occur "overnight".

Sometimes they occur right at evening rush hour. And you just can't clear the roads "in minutes" when they're clogged with cars. I remember commutes home from my job in the suburbs that took 3 to 4 hours because of the snow.

I'm in MINNESNOWTA and still have NO snow on the ground.

However, it won't last long.

Nobody has a winter like our winters. The rest of the country needs to get on our level. If you can't then all of you need to stop crying about winter. Denver? You kidding me? It's a blizzard one day and then 75 the next day. Chicago? Similar to Mpls, but only if you think -15 and 10 degrees are "similar". If you think so, then you've never experienced winters like mine.

Ever had to plug your car in overnight? Own Sorels, Choppers and Carhart Coats?

There's nothing like being outside on a frozen lake ice-fishing as it's -15 degrees out. Absolutely nothing like it.
