And I never suggested that you did. I was responding to your original assertion that DTLA and DT Houston have similar amenities, with DTLA just having more and on a bigger scale.

My point was that it's more than DTLA having more of the same as DT Houston. DTLA has tons of things that don't exist in DT Houston at all. Having thriving ethnic neighborhoods and a very popular entertainment scene (outside of events), and the fashion district are very significant differences imo.
And maybe that goes both ways to an extent. DTLA doesn't have a pedestrian underground which I find very cool. Still as cool as it is, that maybe more than anything could be what has held DT Houston back. So much is down there, but it takes away from street level activity and then nothing is open or accessible outside work hours.
