The winding streets and that type of housing stock make ghetto areas of Boston like Roxbury, Mattapan, and Dorchester look very desirable.

I know what you mean but I know plenty of areas that "winding streets" can't make desirable lol...

Hunters Point, San Francisco - Google Maps

Huntspoint, unlike Lakeview and Sunnydale, actually LOOKS like a ghetto, and looks impoverished. But damn, is that a nice view they got there in the Huntspoint projects. So beautiful, no matter how dangerous and ghetto the area is.

It is beautiful. Unfortunately, the military screwed it up... this video pretty much sums it up:

And trust me, Sunnydale looks just as bad in person.

This isn't a smart comment, and is very broad. Camden, parts of Irvington NJ look worse then anything in Florida. Those are northeast cities. But I will agree Boston has good infrastructure in its ghettos.

No. Nobody in Baltimore consider it southern. I've asked a lot of people. I only say it on C-D to keep things on topic.

There was Echo Park in Los Angeles. I say was because the hipsters have been taking over. Beautiful old Victorian houses up in the hills overlooking the L.A. Basin. True, you had five families living in each one, but it was quite something.
