According to Wealth-X, the Bay Area ranks 4th in the world behind NY, London and Tokyo as far as persons with a net worth of $30 Million+ and by 2025 is expected to reach parity with Tokyo in this regard.

As far as wealth it doesn't matter. If we separate San Francisco and San Jose, San Francisco by itself is still 2nd in the country behind only NY.
