Dallas

Department is really patting themselves on the back over the total crime decrease & pretty much ignoring the violent crime increase.

Damn, that seems high to me! Is that pretty typical? I know Omaha has crime, but don't know to what extent.

Ive read somewhere before the 80s were the most violent decade in American history. In 79 Houston was the Murder Capital.

New York City in that era was filthy,Los Angeles & Miami were the Crack Capitols & St Louis & Little Rock was Just Like Compton.

Today alot of cities have cleaned up since than,Chicago is bad today but nowhere close to what it was before,Detroit & New Orleans may need the National Guard if things dont get better soon.

It is high. Omaha's 20 year average for homicides is 36 per year.. Since 2007, 5 times (years) the city had 41-45 homicides.. The rate has been trending up, unfortunately..

Peace...
