West coast nightlife is a snooze fest compared to what's back east.,.but out of this list, I'd have to say Capital Hill in Seattle.

I agree - the nightlife in Capitol Hill Seattle has a certain energy and depth about it that puts it above most other West Coast nightlife districts. I think LA is better overall for nightlife, though, I just don't think it has a single district as good as Capitol Hill.
