What is the most liberal city in the South (compared, places, population)

It's gotta be Houston....I just can't take ATL seriously as a liberal city.... I'm sorry. And If you feel that Houston is not that liberal then I don't know how "liberal" the South is. Maybe Austin? Miami if you feel like its southern this round? IDK.

Why do you feel Houston is the most liberal and not the others?
Culturally, Miami isn't really "southern" and that's the appeal for most people moving there. Physically, it still is though and it counts in this poll. Miami definitely wins. I've honestly never heard of Houston being more liberal than Dallas though. Granted, Dallas suburbs can be extremely conservative, but so can Houston. In terms of the actual city limits, and more so the central core neighborhoods, Dallas definitely seems more liberal. But either way, Miami wins.
