Definitely Roanoke. I love that part of VA. Nothing appealing to me about Erie.

Dauphin Island, AL or St Simons Island, GA?

Concord, NH or Tulsa, OK?
Concord, close to the White Mountains and Lake Region of NH and close enough to Boston to make a day of it. Pretty nice little city.

St Simons Island, I'd prefer the Atlantic to Gulf Coast and definitely prefer Georgia over Alabama. Having Savannah nearby is a nice feature.

Juneau, AK or Ketchikan, AK?

Juneau, AK or Ketchikan, AK?
Juneau... both have fairly temperate weather by Alaska standards but Juneau's size and amenities make it more attractive to me.

San Luis Obispo, CA or Victoria, TX?

San Luis Obispo, because CA>> Tx, and it can be difficult to beat coastal California, as long as you can afford it..

Annapolis, MD vs. Portland, ME

Portland, ME. Now I say this without having been to Annapolis before, and I imagine I might like it alright. But I can't imagine liking it more than Portland.

Grand Rapids, MI v Louisville, KY

Louisville. I can't do the cold. If Grand Rapids was more temperate I would have went with it. The west coast of Michigan is beautiful!

Lynnwood, WA or Salt Lake City?

Salt Lake City. Better climate (IMO). I prefer UT to WA.

Ann Arbor, MI or Chapel Hill, NC?

Can I pick Ann Arbor's vibe and Chapel Hill's weather?

I guess that violates the rules of the game.

I have a friend who doesn't much care for winter and is now living in Ann Arbor. He tells me it gets real cold there. But if I could live in Minneapolis, and I could, there's no reason I couldn't live in Ann Arbor, so scratch what I said above.

Lancaster, Pa., or Lancaster, Calif.?

Lancaster, PA. I love that whole region of eastern PA. Beautiful countryside. Close to Philly. I personally don't want to live anywhere in CA.

Kansas City, MO or San Antonio, TX?
