Nashville or Austin?

Nashville is authentic I'll take it. - The pretense surrounding Austin and how great it is makes my face hurt sometimes.

Boise or Spokane

Spokane; I admire some of Washington State's recent policies, and it's a beautiful part of the country

I'm going with Madison. Not that I wouldn't like Portland, ME.. it seems like a comfortable New England town, but I feel like Madison has more to offer in education and work. Plus the winters in New England would destroy me.

Richmond. Historic, picturesque, and more affluent.
