Minneapolis. I can handle MSP's cold better than PRT's abundant rain/clouds. MSP's is more affordable as well.

Wilmington, NC or Galveston, TX?

I think I'd take Galveston.

Coeur d'Alene, ID or Boone, NC?

This is an interesting one. Both are pretty awesome. Our youngest son went to Appalachian St. University last fall before entering the Army. I've been visiting the Boone/Blowing Rock area since I was a kid. It's a great town, ranks in many publications as one of America's best small towns and retirement areas, skiing, Blue Ridge Pkwy., very beautiful, and a wonderful college town. But in this case, I'm going to have to give Coeur d"Alene the nod. It's beautiful as well and is in the Spokane, WA area if one wants access to more of a metro feel. Boone is a bit isolated on top of a mountain (which can be good or bad) and can be a tad expensive to live there if you don't work for the university. Good match-up, lol.

Melbourne, FL or Santa Barbara, CA?

Utica. Like with one of the other posts, I can handle Utica's cold/snow better than Olympia's rain/drizzle. Plus it's closer to many different major metros than Olympia.

Albuquerque, NM or Omaha, NE?

Omaha, NE. They have some pretty parks, a surprisingly cool urban core, and I like beer
Chattanooga, TN or Memphis Metro area, TN?

True, I really do think Omaha's is a hidden gem. Great area.........I'd choose Chattanooga. Very scenic area.

(Just a side note, I'm on here more than normal today because I'm getting ready to take our youngest son to the airport in a few hours to be shipped out for Army basic training. This is keeping my mind off of how much I'm gonna miss him, at least for the moment).

Anyway, Charlotte, NC or San Diego, CA?

Tough one; Cali weed, weather, and culture would be awesome, but not the prices. Charlotte has a lot of jobs and is naturally beautiful as well, so I'll go there

Denver or New York?

Denver for sure for me. Great area, beautiful, high QOL, and less expensive than NYC.

Boston, MA or Portland, OR?

Boston, MA. Best city outside of NYC and San Francisco imo.

Columbus OH or Indianapolis IN?
