Definitely Columbus; closer to friends and family and the rest of the country apart from the west coast. Plus a much better city IMO, even if it's smaller.
New Orleans...but only if I could live in one of about two safe neighborhoods in the city. NOLA is a crime-ridden dump, but Rochester is plain cold in the winter and doesn't have much of an economy these days.
Buffalo...at least it has a couple of sports franchises
