Country Club Hills IL or Black Jack MO?
Both seem to be middle-class black suburbs of their respective cities.

Upon further research it looks like Country Club Hills is not the safest. So I'll go with Black Jack.

Vestavia Hills, AL or Collierville, TN?

Collierville due to being more affluent, bigger and in an area with a pretty distinct culture

Missoula MT or Las Cruces NM?

Missoula hands down. The Northern Rockies region is far superior to the Desert Southwest.

definitely Madison. sounds like a pretty lively town, and I can't imagine that Burlington is a whole lot of fun. Santa Fe NM or Knoxville TN?

I'd rather live in Knoxville because it's bigger with more "city" amenities. Santa Fe would be the preferred vacation destination however.

Hempstead, NY or New Haven, CT?

I'd say New Haven due to being bigger with more within its limits.

French Lick/West Baden IN or Verona NY?

This is a tough one. They're both rural but are fairly close to interesting cities (Louisville/Indianapolis and Syracuse/Albany). Verona is a short drive to beautiful Oneida Lake, but since the cities near French Lick/West Baden are more interesting to me and I don't want to live in a snow belt, I'll go for that one.

Jacksonville, FL or Virginia Beach, VA?
