Eugene, OR or Spokane WA?
Eugene. Better weather and less isolated location.

Harrisburg, PA or Allentown, PA?

Allentown is closer to Philly and NYC so I choose there.

Reading, PA or Lancaster, PA

Reading, PA to live (Lancaster, PA to visit).

Small advantage IMO. Reading is a little closer to Philadelphia. Someone could commute to Philly's western suburbs for work more easily from there if they had to do so and closer for weekend visits/pro sports, etc. If I were retired, probably would be a toss-up.

Cheyenne, WY or Winona, MN ?

I'll go with Winona. I hadn't heard of the place before but it seems like a nice little place with a great setting in between the river and the lake. It also is the warmest city in Minnesota apparantly. Also not too far from the super underrated cities of Rochester and most importantly Minneapolis. Seriously this place sounds awesome and I'm glad I discovered it today!

Beckley, WV or Tifton, GA

Beckley, WV or Tifton, GA
Tifton strictly for the milder winters.

Las Vegas, NV because if I had to live in the desert I guess I would rather be in a big city than out in a more rural area.

Huntington Park, CA or East St. Louis, IL

Huntington Park, CA

Keeps me on the Pacific coast & reasonably close to family and friends in CA. Closer to San Diego. Better weather. East St. Louis still struggles with poverty, crime, and is run down. Have read that on this thread a few times. Think Huntington Park and other surrounding communities are a little better than 20 years ago.

Battle of small Midwest towns with unique attractions...Field of Dreams vs. Superman!

Dyersville, IA or Metropolis, IL ?
