Colorado Springs,CO or Houston
Houston, because there's more to do. I like Co. Spr. too. I prefer its climate to Houston's. But overall, Houston.

Charlotte, NC or Austin, TX?

Charlotte seems like a more well-rounded city overall but I’ll go with Austin because of the larger amount of tech jobs.

Erie, PA or Toledo, OH?

Bullhead City, AZ

It is closer to a few of my relatives. On/near the Colorado River. Also is closer to Laughlin (less than 10 miles!) and Las Vegas. Just a guess, but think the heat is a little less severe than Yuma, too.

Atlantic City, NJ or Reno, NV?

Orlando. I've never been there, but Anaheim is just a part of the mush that is LA, yech. Don't think I'd like Orlando really, though.

How about some of the places Amazon is considering now? Where would you prefer to live if you were an Amazon tech or exec?

Raleigh, NC or Columbus, OH?

Raleigh, NC or Columbus, OH?
Columbus (slight edge)

I grew up in the Midwest, so could probably adapt a little faster. It is reasonably close to a few other major cities (Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh). Also is close to the NFL Hall of Fame & Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Great college football atmosphere in the fall (Ohio State) and shorter summer season for heat/humidity than Raleigh. Pro hockey team.

Another North Carolina vs. Ohio choice:

Greensboro, NC or Dayton, OH?

Grand Marais, MN

Beautiful town/region on Lake Superior. Duluth is about 100 miles south and Thunder Bay, Canada is about 80 miles north. Is much closer to people I know in the Twin Cities area and Wisconsin.

Bangor, ME or Stillwater, MN?
